George joined Custance in 2018 after spending the last 4 years building a design company that specialises in both residential and commercial interior design. As owner and director of Proffer Limited, his experience ranges from interior and product design, business operation, leading client consultation and large-scale project management. In addition to his Honours degree in Industrial Design from Massey, George has led and partnered with a number of projects both in Wellington and London, UK.
George’s brings a specialist ergonomic expertise to the team in his ability to understand the big picture of a space right down to the inner workings of componentry and specialist furniture. His 3D modelling capabilities are extensive as well as his manufacturing knowledge and hands-on skill of building and prototyping.
